Bertinet Bakery - Packaging Design
The Bread Factory approached me to revamp the packaging for their Bertinet Bakery brand. The brief was to create a more premium look with enhanced shelf stand-out for their range of sourdough products. The project encompassed redesigning packaging for tin loaves and half-bloomers in a variety of sizes and recipes.
The new design increases the brand prominence, framing the logo top and centre of pack within a colour block denoting the recipe. A clear window through the logo integrates the product itself into the branding. Clean, bold and structured type communicates the key product information and is supported with the The Real Bread Campaign's 'loaf mark' as a stamp of authenticity.
The rustic half-bloomers follow the design principles of the tin loaves, with a newly designed 'regeneratively grown grains' graphic. This was an important message the client wished to highlight on the front of pack as a point of difference for the bloomers.
The outcome? Amplified visibility on store shelves, ensuring the products stand out amidst the competition while remaining familiar to existing customers, enabling them to effortlessly spot their favourite items while browsing.
